UPCOMING BLU-RAY/DVD RELEASES FROM UK COMPANY 88 FILMS

http://severedbloodlines.com/severed-cinema/images/news/88-films/88-films.jpg

In recent years there's been a surge of UK grown distributors who concentrate solely on cult and hard to find titles in the horror, sci-fi, etcetera genres. Arrow, Shameless and 88 Films are three credible companies to watch over.

88 Films have a vast library of low budget VHS shop find titles including Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers, The Day Time Ended (see my review here), plus a shed load of Charles Band retro goodies, Troma and Video Nasty slices available on their website (88films.co.uk) and are about to release Sergio Martino's Hands of Steel this December packed with interviews, along with western style Empire horror, Ghost Town, and the Shaw Bros classic House of Traps.

Additionally 88 Films’ successful Italian series continues with The Cynic, The Rat and the Fist starring legendary crime actor, Tomas Milian and John Saxon. This one comes with an interview with the star and director, Umberto Lenzi.

Time to save for Christmas....
