WHAT'S CREEPING AROUND THE CORNER SOON FROM 88 FILMS

http://severedbloodlines.com/severed-cinema/images/news/88-films/88-films.jpg

In a quick update on what's due out from the UK's specialist in bringing forgotten VHS tapes to DVD land, they are chucking out such titles as the 1976 post Jaws animal rampage title, Dogs, with documentaries and a making of on Blu-ray. Then there's Sweet Sixteen, the rather cruddy, Amazonia, and the (I never knew this) third part of The Hills Have Eyes. Oh, you mean, Mind Ripper with Lance Henricksen? Okay...

Their Asia series are also due to give us the twisted Shaw Brothers gem, Black Magic 2, with a pretty cool cover, The Spiritual Boxer and the Korean shocker, Hansel and Gretel from 2007.

Lastly, there's always one title that just makes me go, “yes!” It's another post Jaws thing, but it's the classic, Grizzly. Due out in May starring Fulci man, the late, Christopher George and from the exploitation man, William Girdler. It comes with a booklet and an interview. Nice to have this one on the UK market so many more can enjoy it.

So it's rather slim pickings this time round, but there's always some diamonds in the dirt.
