Heidi is Coming for Annabelle!
The News - Latest News
Written by Jay Creepy
Friday, 03 October 2014

I had to laugh as I found out about this little gem. Heidi is a very micro budget found footage movie in the same creepy genre as the weirdest doll movies. Magic, Annabelle, etcetera, have nothing on this terrifying creation: “Two high school kids find a doll in the attic. The perceptive kids, as you’ll see in the trailer, notice that there’s no dust on the doll despite dust being everywhere else. But as time goes on, the boys are increasingly plagued by a series of disturbing and unexplained events.” Read More...

An amusingly titled indie flick is due to go into filming early 2015. Titled Don't Fuck in the Woods, this little ditty is the brainchild of Shawn Burkett who takes the responsibility of writing and directing it. His C.V. includes underground creatures like The Sleeping Soul, segments of Theatre of the Deranged II and Watch This, and Bludgeon. Read More...

Being that The Punisher is one of Marvel's most violent creations and his movies with whichever actor in the part usually equals brutality and bloodshed -- as does the graphic novels, especially those of Garth Ennis -- it's been rumoured here and there recently of two possible new ventures for the vigilante character. New Snake Plissken in Escape From New York Remake
The News - Latest News
Written by Jay Creepy
Wednesday, 03 September 2014

Rumours are around that the Escape from New York remake, though minus a director so far, will be a reality. Three stars are thought to be soon having cash thrown their way to play the legend that is Snake Plissken. Shane from The Walking Dead season 1 and 2, Jon Bernthal, Charlie Hunnam of Sons of Anarchy and Dan Stevens are the men possibly set to step into the boots of the man. Though no offers have been made yet apparently these are the hopefuls. Joel Silver is behind it all, wanting to reboot the whole thing and churn out a possible series of movies. Read More...

The Dead 2 Coming Soon

One of my personal favorite zombie movies in the last few years, The Dead, is getting a sequel on September 16th. The Dead 2: India, has a similar story to the original in which a lone survivor must travel the land for miles to reach salvation (with his pregnant girlfriend in this one). Instead of Africa we have India. Read More...

It's been threatened since 2012, is said to star Eric Roberts, Tiny Lister and returning cast members from the first two flicks, but has yet to emerge.

The Human Centipede III (The Final Sequence) is supposed to be set in an American prison and conclude with a 100 - 500 man long human centipede. Bloody Disgusting released a pic of the promo poster art back in 2013, but there hasn't been much since. Read More...

Coming out like a low budget don't care attitude version of Troma, welcome to The Sleaze Box (Icon Film Studios). The Conjuring Has a Doll Spin-off
The News - Latest News

In October Annabelle arrives, as a spin-off story based around the creepy doll in The Conjuring. John Form has found the perfect gift for his expectant wife, Mia -- a beautiful, rare vintage doll in a pure white wedding dress. But Mia's delight with Annabelle doesn't last long. On one horrific night, their home is invaded by members of a satanic cult, who violently attack the couple. Spilled blood and terror are not all they leave behind. The cultists have conjured an entity so malevolent that nothing they did will compare to the sinister conduit to the damned that is now... Annabelle. Read More...

What Has Buttgereit Been Up To?
The News - Latest News
Written by Jay Creepy
Wednesday, 16 July 2014

Jorg Buttgereit, the mastermind behind the tragic horror love stories Nekromantik and Nekromantik 2, the man behind the eerie and atmospheric serial killer movie Schramm, seemed to vanish from horror movies altogether. Controversy can be a good thing or a bad thing. Funding has always had Buttgereit spread his work out thinly. So for a few years after Schramm, he popped up directing an episode of Lexx and had some bits and pieces TV work here and there as well.

However, aside from some acting roles, this infamous gore community director seems set for a comeback. He's been putting out short films like Sexmonster, Green Frankenstein, and Video Nasty, to small cult audiences. The comeback in question is his involvement in an anthology called German Angst (sharing duties with two other directors). Read More...

Code Red DVD on Severed Cinema

Code Red are the label that sellers seem to command lots of money for their DVDs on Ebay. Maybe because their releases are a little special sometimes. For instance If He Hollers, Let Him Go from 1968. The tale of James Lake, an escaped convict caught up in prejudices as he looks for the man who set him up. Also look out for Sinner's Blood , from 1969, about two sisters mixed up with lesbian cousins, horny hardware store men, and bikers. Read More...
