By now, Severed Cinema readers should be very aware of the American Guinea Pig series if you frequent the website, or any other underground annals of the interwebs. Masterminded by Unearthed Films’ Stephen Biro, the series began with the faux-snuff gorefest, American Guinea Pig: Bouquet of Guts and Gore directed by the man himself. The second installment, American Guinea Pig: Bloodshock, a black and white slow-burner from Hell has been recently unleashed, helmed this time by make-up effects virtuoso Marcus Koch (who also does the ghastly FX work). Now this brings us to the third installment, which has just finished principal photography. American Guinea Pig: Song of Solomon sees Biro revisit the director’s throne once again -- this time aiming to deliver an exorcism film to end all exorcism films! Read More...
