Itís never too early to put up your Christmas decorations, right? I mean, Halloween isnít even over these days, and Thanksgiving in Murica hasn't arrived, and people are already littering the fuck out of their houses with Christmas decor. Like I said, itís never too early for Christmas, and itís never too early for a good ol' St. Nick slasher.

All Through the House is an okay attempt at bringing back those great Ď80s slashers like Silent Night, Deadly Night, Christmas Evil, Tales From The Crypt, etcetera. Itís not the most original but what it does lack in originality it makes up for in witty and tasteless dialogue, titties and lots of bloody kills. It manages to keep the pace going steadily enough to hold interest for its duration, until the last half when things get predictable and an inevitable conclusion occurs in which viewers should be able to see coming.

The Santa Claus killer looks very cool in this with the grey mask and bulging psychotic eyes protruding through the eye holes as he uses his weapon of choice -- a pair of gardening sheers to prune and trim his way through a myriad of clichťd characters in different scenarios. If youíre not into slasher films then don't bother with All Through the House -- itís a genuine slasher through and through, using elements from The Burning, Sleepaway Camp and those aforementioned Christmas slashers of the eighties.

There is lots of pretty ladies in this one, including the lead, Ashley Mary Nunes, who is obviously the wife or sister or some relation to director, Todd Nunes. Too bad she doesn't get naked. The gore is actually pretty decent. We get castrations, mammary gland violence, throat stabbings and any possible way a pair of garden sheers can violently pierce through a body in gory detail. There are also some great and tasteless lines and sexual innuendos like "I'm gonna do the moonwalk up in that pussy."

All Through the House is definitely a cool flick to check out this Christmas to drive those "jingle balls" blues away. Itís not ground-breaking or original but itís not a bad time waster if you know what youíre getting into. It brings back those old Santa slashers, which seem to be non-existent these days, so for that nostalgia alone, and trying to make it as bloody as possible, I commend it.
