Severed Cinema News: Tabbot's Traveling Carnivale of Terrors Trundling Your Way Soon!

Don't you just love the teasing promise of a low budget movie which carries a dream cast of horror names in it's belt, only to be released and said names are cameos and walk-ons at best. Yep, there's a few names who specialise in making appearances no more than a wave at the camera, then bugger off and leave the meat to some cast who cannot act at all!

Hopefully the arrival of Tabbott's Travelling Carnivale of Terrors will stop that evil line of filmmaking. Sig Haig, Bill Moseley and Kane Hodder all have their names on the cast, a teaser trailer is out which is heavy in atmosphere. Plus the synopsis sounds rather good in a gore-filled grimy kind of dark underground movie way:

Tabbott's Traveling Carnivale of Terrors has been taking its frights around Appalachia since 1925. Business is booming; Offering food, bonfires, costumes, fortune telling, stage acts, games, and music! The treacherous Tabbott family members work together to keep their well-oiled machine-of-deception running according to plan. Papa Everette; the ringleader ringmaster. Mama Gladys; the fat witch upon a throne. Their children: Bobbie; a seductive gypsy. Buck; the temperamental werewolf. Elijah; the sadistic scarecrow. And young Emma; a ghost ignored. The Carnival's main attraction is a House of Horrors like never seen before; a slaughterhouse for those who visit, and leave nevermore. The moon is full, the carnival erected; for unsuspecting visitors, the night is not what they suspected. Country girl Jess reads a sign in town and takes the bait, and her friend Sarah; ready for an exciting night of fun and frights. As fate would have it; things are not always what they seem, and predator ...

Creator, Thomas S. Nicol has a few nifty titles behind him already, such as The Mitchell Tapes and The Game Done Changed, so we can hope that his cast behemoths will have enough screen time to make us smile through blooded teeth.

Here's a couple of links to the official FB page, and to Mr. Nicol's official movie company FB page:

Plus the important eerie trailer.....
