Gore Shriek Resurrectus on Severed Cinema

Who doesn't remember the adverts in Chas Balun's Deep Red mags for Gore Shriek (if you read horror mags in that era and didn't read Deep Red, well shame on yuh!) the FantaCo produced filthy gruesome comic edited by Gorezone & Deep Red contributor, Steve R. Bissette? It only ran for a handful of shocks (unless you also include the brief 1990 revival minus Mr. Bissette which ran for four issues.

Contributors delighted in dollops of old school bloody artwork -- even if sometimes the tales themselves were rather shoddy.

Well, it's been recently announced and put onto Kickstarter another revival, Ressurectus.

Each issue will be 48-pages, carefully crafted to LOOK, FEEL, READ and even SMELL like the original Gore Shriek™ comic books - without any advertising. This is the real deal folks and will become prized additions to your collections!!

Issue one is planned for May, then a new Kickstarter will pop out for issue two due approx Halloween.

Here's the link to the pan rattling page!
