Lynn Lowry on Severed Cinema

The horror legend Lynn Lowry is set to star in a new short movie called The Neighbour. Lynn hasn't been quiet on the horror front, she has been appearing in so many films it makes your head spin, and she has over ten more coming up. Of course, Severed Cinema readers will recognise her name from such classics as I Drink Your Blood, The Crazies, Shivers, up to her return in 2005 and a never ending C.V. since, in such things like Schism, Psychosamatika, I Spill Your Guts, and Torture Chamber.

The Neighbour is directed by Mark Vella, who's worked on The Shadow and Bring Me the Head of Mavis Davis, and starring Charlotte Mounter and Sarah (Cockneys vs Zombies) Langton as well. It is due out late 2015.

'A down on her luck thirty-something woman living in a shabby apartment where her only neighbours may be murderers or worse.'

So, on the subject of Lynn Lowry, another of her upcoming titles are The Divine Tragedies, written and directed by Jose Prendes, which also stars big names Ken Foree and Barbara Crampton, who are both probably having a good chat about their time together on From Beyond. This one's about two brothers who act out their murderous fantasies and screw up their relationship together. The Divine Tragedies is gaining a huge buzz of interest throughout various sites by the way.

Also worth a mention is Model Hunger, starring Lynn as Ginny, a former model and actress cast aside by the industry when she was younger and naturally she's enjoying a menu of revenge. Directed by underground horror darling, Debbie Rochen and also starring two indie workaholic women, Tiffany Shepis and Suzi Lorraine. Brian (Game of Thrones) Fortune is also thrown in.
