LA PETITE MORT 2. THE GERMAN UNDERGROUND OF GORE

Just like Italy, there's a nice little underground of gore cinema. One little monster which came out in 2014 is La Petite Mort 2. The original dropped out in 2009 and had Olaf Ittenbach (Dard Divorce, Legion of the Dead, Beyond the Limits) handling most of the splattering effects. The original followed a few travellers who stop off (accidently) at a BDSM club which just like the Hostel flicks, side-line with torture.

La Petite Mort 2: Nasty Tapes continues without Olaf as the new owner of the club, Matheu Maxime, starts more torture for cash. The tagline is: It all began with pain, and it would just be too good to stop.

Uwe Boll and Ryan Nicholson (Live Feed, Gutterballs, Dead Nude Girls) trade directing for roles in this one. The main stars, however are Mika (Hell) Metz, and Annika Strauss (Seed 2: The New Breed, German Angst).
