Megafoot Promo Image on Severed Cinema

I had to laugh at this, what an awesome write up. To quote a cool Facebook post about the upcoming Megafoot :MEGAFOOT is NOT a superhero film. MEGAFOOT doesn't need super-powers. He wouldn't make a particularly good superhero anyway - there's nothing heroic about him. Can you "heroically disembowel" someone? Plus, he doesn't look good in spandex.” Also on the Facebook page is stated: “We're currently building the practical FX MEGAFOOT beast - once this has been completed we will start to shoot the demo footage which will hopefully bring in the budget we need for the feature.”

So what's it all about? Well, basically he's half cyborg half bigfoot unleashed from a top secret lab. There's a squad of soldiers sent to track him down.  In the mix we have students, scientists, and some locals (the not so tourist friendly kind) confronting this creature. It sounds like a laugh, with more giggles than a barrel full of zombies or entrails thrashing around courtesy of the bigfoot from Night of the Demon.

Writer director Rolfe Kanefsky has popped up many times since the early nineties, and though there's been no official casting news yet, it should hopefully keep us on hooks with updates soon. Here's a link or two for those said updates Megafoot on Facebook, Megafoot on Twitter, oh and a nice little test footage promo thingy here:
