MONSTROSITY MAGAZINE Ahh, remember the days of Deep Red, In the Flesh, and tons of small print splatter coated zines popping out worldwide? Before the days of the internet I reckon everyone slammed into their local horror shops or greedily lapped up whatever popped through the letter box. Mags that told you about the tiny films as well, those lovingly crafted works of art done for nothing but to give back to the community.
Well here's Monstrosity, a magazine that's made of paper devoted to the indie horror scene. Issue 2 is coming up and can be pre-ordered here for $6.99. Looks like a nice companion to long nights reading Horrorhound or The Darkside. Monstrosity issue 2 will feature Mark Patton of Elm St 2, James Bell, who directed Dog Dick, and others including Christy Faulkner, Kelci C. Magel and Felissa Rose of Sleepaway Camp.
There are reviews and what makes it even better is a frikkin' CD featuring horror music from various genres.
Well worth the cash and the eager wait at the letter box / mail box (depending which country you are in).
