Really? Oh yes, in 2015, the country of Germany is to set loose The Rise of Valhalla, a mad tale of Nazis opening the gates of Valhalla and... well, here's the official synopsis “While the Third Reich is about to fall and hoping to offer fierce opposition, Himmler ordered the SS to open the gates of Valhalla to form an army of Vikings. A small group of German soldiers will quickly learn that the Nazis made a big mistake by letting their world, these zombies Viking warriors.”

Pure genius I'm sure you'd agree. Viking zombies aren't likely going to want to side with the SS are they? They just want to purge and plunder and do nasty things. It's going to be low budget and probably a good laugh as well.

Daniel Konze is the writer, director and producer, helped by Michael Konze on special effects and Torben Zimmerman on make-up co-writing credits and special effects. The movie is to star Thomas Pill (Savage Love, Legend of Hell) and Markus Hettich (No Reason, Tatort Calw – Hexensabbat) as SS officers and newcomer Thomas Binder as a freedom fighter.

Here's a webpage and the Indiegogo page and a teaser trailer:
