 Ryan Nicholson, director of such films as Live Feed and Gutterballs, is now releasing his introduction to the genre, with Torched on DVD with the "Char-Broiled Edition"! Here's the info:
Deanna has it all: brains, beauty, and a promising nursing career.
But a chance encounter that leads to a scarring rape turns Deanna’s
perfect life into a perfect nightmare. Now, as Deanna loses her grip on
sanity, she has only one goal: to find the sick bastards who harmed her
and show them what sick really means. With an array of powerful weapons
at her disposal -- including a blazing blowtorch -- Deanna's revenge will
be a dish served hotter than hell!
Torched is the first Plotdigger film, co-produced with Creepy Six Films (the producers of Human Nature and Carmilla). Truncated for its inclusion in Creepy Six's female-revenge anthology Hell Hath No Fury, Torched was also released in this edited form as part of Creepy Six's 2007 double-feature, Sex & Death: The Movie (Volume 1). Despite these releases, Torched has never been seen in its original uncut state...
Until now.
Torched is finally coming to an all-new DVD edition in restored and uncut form, the way the creators intended. Look for Torched: Char-Broiled Edition at the Plotdigger Store this fall!
