Severed Cinema News: Something to Shout About! Upcoming Releases from Shout! Factory!
SOMETHING TO SHOUT ABOUT!
UPCOMING RELEASES FROM SHOUT! FACTORY!

I always like to
give it a few months before I explore the website of Shout!
Factory because they never let me down. I'm
always staring google-eyed and wondering what I can put in
my article. The thing is, most of their titles have been
released before by other companies. However, Shout!
Factory have that winning hand by putting a few extras
and gifts in with their versions. Such as the upcoming May
release of Serial Mom, John Waters' black comedy
creature. If you order from them direct, you get a free
rolled poster with special edition artwork. Also, absolutely
loads of interviews and commentary stuff from Waters, Mink
Stole, Ricki Lake, Kathleen Turner, and more! Additionally
there's a making of and a documentary on HG Lewis and David
Friedman, because they can!!!!
A totally fantastic one is coming soon as well. The sequel
to Willard, and MJ inspiration, Ben. It's a
late night gem and has a new HD transfer from the best
archive print available, plus a commentary with Lee
Montgomery.
But what about Willard? Well, Shout! Factory are
doing us a solid by popping that out to. Just in case we can
handle more goodies, Video Tape Store gems such as The
Vagrant, Tresspass, Alienator, and The
Lawnmower Man are arriving in the warmer months.
Now then. I've saved the best until last. Hairy werewolf
hands in the air who likes Paul Naschy? I certainly do. I've
loved his cut price and inventive archive of madness since
discovering old VHS tapes back in the early 2000s. The late
Mr. Naschy is like a drug. You need to watch more! So, with
that in mind, The Paul Naschy Collection, features 5
of his underground classics. Which ones? Well, you'll have
to have a look yourself to truly relish in the gore. Follow
