Eric Stanze Now Involved in New Film Red Night at Skye’s
Remember that crazy bloke, Eric Stanze? His name was everywhere at one point due to his movies, Ratline, Ice from the Sun, and most noticeably, Scrapbook, doing the rounds in the underground.
Since those days, he’s been busy producing, and working as a cinematographer. In fact, in the latter role, he is working on a new movie currently called, Red Night at Skye’s, by Chris Grega. The selling point is Bill Moseley. Yeah, it sounds like a small role, a cameo probably, but apparently, it’s a very important part. In all fairness, small roles don’t always have to be the Danny Trejo and Sid Haig, blink you miss ‘em style, they can be more like The Inflicted (see review here) and that one had Bill taking on a very good role.
Red Night at Skye’s also stars Jackie (Tennessee Gothic) Kelly, Joe (Fear Me) Hammerstone, and many other underground names. What’s it all about then? Well…
RED NIGHT AT SKYE’S tells the harrowing tale of Cole Boyd, an out of work Veteran with a dying wife, an elderly father, and two kids to take care of. He gets caught up in a scheme to rob Skye’s Pawnshop, a front for a vicious gang of meth making bikers known as The Spiders, their sinister leader Doc, and a basement full of bloodshed, old-school weirdness, and horror!
88mm Productions are also proudly involved.
