Unearthed Films Revives Cradle of Fear, Legion of the Dead, and Tetsuo: The Bullet Man this Summer
This summer, Cradle of Fear, a wild mainly forgotten UK made anthology is getting a polish up by Unearthed Films with a 2-Disc Collector’s Edition Blu-ray.
Cradle of Fear was made by Alex Chandon (the lunatic behind the classic dark comedy, Inbred and Bad Karma (see Bad Karma — A Bloody, Bizarre Blast from the Low-Budget Underground) starring Emily Booth, Eileen Daly, and Cradle of Filth’s Dani Filth. It’s a very watchable fun product of the early 2000s that showcases a ton of gore plus a rather dodgy speeding car special effect.
“Notorious child murderer Kemper is hellbent on exacting his revenge on the people who put him away, and from his padded room in the local asylum, he commands “The Man” to slaughter the families of those responsible. Detective Nielson, who’d had his own unpleasant run-in with Kemper, is faced with an increasingly large pile of mutilated bodies and tries to make some sense of the savagery”
Release date is May 12, 2026.

Also, Olaf’s From Dusk Til Dawn rip-off with a rubbish ending, Legion of the Dead, comes forth in a Limited Collector’s Edition Blu-ray. I remember reading all about a promo screening it had years ago. Afterwards, someone asked the director if he filmed it before writing the script. His reply, “Fuck you!” I have to agree with the hawker for when I watched it long ago, only the ridiculous ending stands out for me. I sold it straight after.

On a better note, Tetsuo: the Bullet Man, the lesser seen final part in the Tetsuo trilogy is coming to Blu-Ray on their Unearthed Classics line. Tetsuo: the Bullet Man (see Tetsuo: The Bullet Man — A Chaotic Return to Cyberpunk Body Horror) is a lot different to it’s predecessors in as much that it’s calmer. It’s still flamboyant in its insane imagery, but a bigger budget has meant the punk feeling has gone. Nevertheless, fans of the first two need to own this!
“Anthony is a bland and cautious American office worker living in Tokyo with nothing exceptional about him. Or so he thinks. When his young son is killed, Anthony begins a violent and bizarre metamorphosis, his flesh transforming into metal, his body expressing his repressed rage and lust for revenge. Anthony is becoming the weapon that will destroy the man who killed his son and, if his rage cannot be contained, the entire city in the process. Cult director Shinya Tsukamoto’s Tetsuo trilogy comes full-circle with Tetsuo: The Bullet Man.”
Release date is July 14, 2026.
