Brian Paulin’s Morbid Visions: The Youtube Channel Horror Fans Deserve!
Brian Paulin, director of such films as Cryptic Plasm, Bone Sickness, Fetus, Blood Pigs, and the upcoming Septic, does the best traditional gore FX and monster creations that underground American horror has ever seen. His company Morbid Vision Films have been dishing out the splatter since the ‘90s. However, did you know that he now hosts a show on his horror YouTube channel where he talks all things horror? The show is called Morbid Visions, and here’s the scoop from the man himself:
Morbid Visions is a series created to talk about and celebrate all things horror. The main episodes are about general horror topics ranging from laserdiscs to ‘80s horror magazines and subjects about our company Morbid Vision Films. I also do top 5 lists. And a series called Morbid Vinyl.
The main reason I decided to do this series is for fun. Just to enjoy talking about horror. But it’s also partly an experiment to see if I can build the MorbidVisionFilms Youtube channel to where it qualifies to generate money to help benefit the future of Morbid Vision Films.
The newest episode showcases the rarest VHS in the MVF library. VHS that had very limited releases and some one-of-a-kind pieces. The video also included never before seen footage from older movies that were never released.
There you have it dear Severed Cinema readers. Do yourself a favour and check out Brian’s latest video. He showcases some truly rare unknown VHS releases, from Reap of Evil, to a never before released film directed by actor and contributor Rich George! And while you’re at it, check out his awesome video about obscure horror films titled “MV ep.5 – More obscure horror movies”. Oh, and be sure to subscribe to MorbidVisionFilms because Brian is doing regular videos all the time. You owe it to yourself!
