Bridge of the Doomed! What Lurks Underneath?

In today’s really oversaturated market of conveyor belt mass produced zombie films, it’s hard to find a decent one. A couple exist, but to be honest, it’s easier not to bother looking due to all the failures you have to endure on your screen
So, how about this for a newbie? Zombie outbreak, yeah? A group of soldiers have to hold out on a bridge during this epidemic. Don’t yawn, hang on… there’s something far worse living under the bridge… Yeah, that sounds more like it.
Director, Michael Su, has been around the genre since the early 2000s, mainly as a cinematographer, but has also directed a handful of flicks including The Revolting Dead, My Demon Within, and Doomed, which had the dreadfully uninspiring tagline: “In the tradition of 28 Days later and Dawn of the Dead,” when released on DVD in the UK.
Bridge of the Doomed is to star, Sarah French, who’s made a name for herself on the underground for a while appearing in loads of movies like Terror Overload, Camp Kill, Zombie Dolls and the cool titled, Chainsaw Maidens from Hell (Kane Hodder appears in that one).
This sounds like it could have brains and a whole lot of fun rolled into a barrel full of walking corpses. There’s an Indie Go-Go campaign for this possible gem (being released by Mahal Empire – Michael and Sonny Mahal, you will be Kings of Cult soon) and a nice Indie Go-Go trailer, plus of course a mandatory Facebook page to keep up to date and all the rotting bubbling flesh.
