Darker Than Ever: Bazz Hancher’s Latest Film 45′ Delves into the Abyss!
UK underground maniac, Bazz Hancher is returning soon with something far darker and nastier than his previous films with his latest, 45.
Bazz has graced the pages of Severed Cinema before with Hate Little Rabbit (see review here) and the totally indescribable, Axel Falcon (see review here) but for this short movie (currently in pre-production) he’s already shot and edited a few opening moments and they are very atmospheric.
A few members of the Axel Falcon gang are returning, James Underwood as assistant director and generally taker of Bazz’s jokes (my Partner in Gore, Willow, and I witnessed this firsthand when we appeared in Axel Falcon. Bazz has a brilliant way of making his sets thrive with activity and fun) plus Rachael Painter, who applied all the juicy bloods and prosthetics before. Kemal Yildirin, Mark Sneddon, and Stuart Summerfield also return.
They’re aiming for a 2025 release and have also dragged a few more good name actors in kicking and screaming, but what’s it all about?
Tormented father, Boyd Fallon, is hellbent on tracking down the killer of his thirteen year old daughter. As he gets closer, he realises he’s dealing with something a lot darker than he could imagine…
The film is based on the Book of Daniel from the Old Testament (heeey, this could have been part of White Gardenia’s upcoming epic based on the Bible) but I’m not revealing anything else as of yet for I’ll likely write a lengthier article on 45 once there’s a few stills and such to tease everyone with.
There are certainly not many folks like Bazz Hancher on these shores, he deserves a lot of support.
