Defilement of a Porcelain Doll Review from Putrid Productions!
Jonathan Doe of Putrid Productions is back with his third installment of the Erotic Grotesque Nonsense series. The first installment being Barf Bunny (see review here) followed by The Degenerates (see review here). Fortunately for you underground freaks Doe has brought to light some more material deeply inspired by Asian porn/fetish films.
Defilement of a Porcelain Doll focuses on the fetish Salirophilia. Salirophilia is the act of desecrating/humiliating or soiling an individual’s object of desire.
In this case we get fetish actress/model Felicia Fischer who also starred in the series two earlier entries and new to the series is porn/fetish model Little Puck. Puck steals the show here as she is center stage for the duration of the one hour and thirty-eight-minute runtime.
Defilement of a Porcelain Doll is more of a performance fetish piece than a film per se. It takes place with simply two actresses in an undisclosed location. The synopsis states and I quote “A deranged artist living beneath the train tracks of a city in ruin abducts women and uses them as canvasses for her artistic catharsis. Taking their indecent bodies and purifying them through obscenity and putrefaction.” Sounds like a good time right?
As I stated before Defilement of a Porcelain Doll focusses on salirophilia as Barf Bunny focussed on emetophillia and The Degenerates with necrophilia. The film features a bunch of bizarre and disturbing material as you would expect but the emphasis on gore and graphic murder is non-existent here. Never fear as it’s made up for by the abundance of deviant sexual properties on display front and center. Defilement of a Porcelain Doll is definitely not for the faint of heart or morally pure.
The film is broken down into different portraits and unfolds in said fashion. Little Puck uses the women she abducts as her canvas in which she paints her “portraits” and indulges in bizarre torture fetish/degradation/humiliation practices. Ultimately it seems all this is taken on as a means to simply satisfy her sexually charged urges so in layman’s terms she is fucked up in the head and can only get off on this weird shit.
Is the film entertaining or exciting? That depends on the viewer themselves. Personally, I was intrigued to see what twisted manner of torture/weirdness Puck was going to come up with next as some were very mind boggling.
Felicia Fischer is called canvas #2 in the film. She is tied up for the duration in a chair and undergoes whatever Puck throws at her, fairly unwillingly, until Puck drugs her ass. A series of tortures ensues such as cutting off Felicias own pubes and ramming them down her throat, gathering up salvia Fischer has expelled, and massaging her head with it. No fetish film is complete without involuntary puking and my personal favorite of Puck pissing in a flower watering can and using her urine to literally douse Fischer with it.
The portrait titled climax is very insane and features Puck’s insatiable lust coming around full circle. Puck expels and gushes her orgasm in grand display before the events come to a close. The torture/death method used here is strangely erotic and perverse yet simple and effective efficiently acting as both a simultaneous homemade death and pleasure contraption.
So, Jessie Seitz and James Bell did the effects but there is no real gore in this unless you count these totes filled with various rotting monstrosities used to slather over Fischer’s body. I know Bell’s work very well and see his prosthetic parts here used in the scene. There is no stabbing, cutting, ripping sawing, or dismemberment of any sort here – it’s a different kind of film in that regard.
Little Puck is blissfully off her rocker insane, and a good performance here by her plus she is all dolled up in this erotic revealing fetish suit regularly exposing her breasts and genitalia. We see her urinate twice and there is also some real penetration involving her in this.
I felt the movie could have been shortened in length. There are a lot of repetitive scenes of Puck taking numerous photos with her Polaroid camera documenting her exploits over and over which do get tiresome. Overall, I appreciate the film’s vision, ferocity, delivery, and style in execution. Special shout out to Martin Trafford who did a cool play on Guinea Pig: Devils Experiment for the cover art (who I might add did my Twisted Minds Facebook Page logo in collaboration with Joe Meredith). Defilement of a Porcelain Doll is a memorable outing and Doe is clearly one sick fuck with a vision and an eye for disturbing and bothersome reflection and detail.
