From Nunsploitation to Mutant Twins – Arrow Films Shoots for the Horror Lovers Hearts Again!
I’ve got a load of Arrow releases coming up for review over the next few weeks, having recently acquired a load of their awesome delicacies. So, what better time than to see what they have due to tickle our fancy.
Ahhh, they don’t let us down do they? Arrow are easily in the top three worldwide distributors for giving us amazing products with a lot of care and attention. Where to start? How’s about the limited edition 4K UHD (also Blu-Ray) editions of Basket Case? Topped with a poster and so many extras you won’t believe it! My only quibble is that some movies don’t fare better having a digital clean up and restoration. Some are better staying grubby and in the shadows. Basket Case may well be one of those, we shall see — it’s also coming out as a trilogy — you can buy it with a funky VHS slip sleeve if you like.
Walerian Borowczyk, the genius behind Immoral Tales, Dr. Jekyll and His Women, The Beast, and so many more Euro arty nudies, has new life again with Behind Convent Walls getting a lush Arrow blast of madness.
Along with The Lighthouse, UK gangster classic, The Long Good Friday, Mute Witness, and many more on their way, Arrow is shooting straight for our hearts.
