In the Throes of Pseudo-Documentary Hell!
Swiss underground filmmaker Juval Marlon (Solitude of the Tormentors) prepares to unleash his latest slab of controversial celluloid titled Todesmarsch In Chiasso. The project was originally intended for 2020 but got put on the backburner when project collaborator Marco Klammer (The Yearning of Maria D.) was dealing with personal issues.
There was a short film made in 2020 simply titled Todesmarsch. Todesmarsch In Chiasso was shot this year in a few days in January and February in Switzerland and Germany.
The cast are Marco Klammer, Isabelle Fitzgerald, Anastasia Tschikatilo, Jennyfer Frielingsdorf, Philipp Melicker.
Juval Marlon writes:
Todesmarsch In Chiasso is a half documentary/half drama. It mixes fiction with reality. It’s mostly about Marco Klammer and a fictional “self”. He shares thoughts and beliefs showing how someone tries to cope with the loss of a soul mate.
Marlon (read interview with the filmmaker here) is currently in talks with distributors looking like the project will be released this year.
