Lars Rohnstock: Brother in Gore

We at Severed Cinema recently heard of the passing of Lars Rohnstock. He was a staple in German underground/indie filmmaking. Along with his brother Marc, the two formed the production company Infernal Films. 

Infernal Films gave underground gore fans such ambitious films as Necronos and The Curse of Dr. Wolffenstein as well as Dungeon of Evil and Graveyard of The Living Dead. Lars was a producer of the films while his brother Marc directed. They had an upcoming project titled Creatures from Outer Space. 

Lars was respected and loved in the indie scene working with the likes of Annika Strauss, Manoush, Timo Rose, and Marcel Walz. He worked as a still photographer, producer, actor, and more.
