Suicide of a Pig (2022) Movie Review!
Once again, I find myself spiralling out of control down the wormhole of underground film and staring into the blackness of the abyss. This time Nietzsche’s quote rang true. I gazed long enough into the abyss that it gazed into me by delivering Filthina Pig.
Suicide of a Pig is a film in a series of other disturbing shorts (Ass Vomit Salad, The Pig Who Vomits Her Guts Out…, S’mores Taste Like Shit) concocted by the entity known as Filthina Pig. I recently discovered the world of Filthina Pig by a random post on one of the select few degenerate underground film pages I inhabit on Facebook.
Filthina Pig is the kind of obscure figure born in the blasphemy of self-harm/vomit/scat spectrum of performers. A product of the modern world’s edgy film audience looking for their latest extreme fix. Filthina Pig, a bastard child of the infamous league of underground filmmakers such as Lucifer Valentine, White Gardenia, SamHel, Marco Malattia, and as of late Jack Mulvanerty.
Filthina Pig bathes in a myriad of coloured body fluids. We are treated in watching Filthina regurgitating over a toilet and the various twisted forms, colours, and shapes the vomited mass resembles. First a toothbrush is used to induce vomiting. It seems Filthina takes brushing your tongue for fresher breath to whole new depths. Then we move onto a bigger device — a dildo to toilet plunge the throat accordingly.
Filthina then proceeds to eat a vile casserole of some sort topped with worms and encrusted with filth. It’s eaten then tossed back up in a glass. It’s then drank and spit out with close-ups of its globbular yellowish pureed pool of spew.
Next on the docket Filthina works up to self-mutilation. Incisions and cuts are administered with a scalpel, but the intent is clear on the removal of a nipple. Filthina is successful and we are treated to close-ups of the fileted nipple after removal which is the icing on the cake. The cherry on top is the nipple being sautéed in garlic butter/herbs till crispy (pancetta anyone?) and seeing it gnashing between Filthina’s teeth in close up detail.
To top it all off nothing says I love you all like eating a freshly dropped steaming pile of human excrement but here we are! We see an ass on the bottom left of the screen freshly producing a deposit of fecal matter. Filthina puts it in her month, rubs it all over their face, and then saran wraps their face with the poop on it.
Filthina wakes up after taking a nap with the saran wrap coated shit on their face. Filthina’s face is horribly disfigured (person who took the dump must have had battery acid for shit). Self-cutting and a foot piercing is administered. Finally gagging with a pair of scissors and vomiting profusely as the toilet is used to deliver final death blows to fracture the skull.
