Vexanthrone (2024), an upcoming film from avant-garde filmmaker, Jacob B. Green (Agronominon), follows a loner artist, exiled from the art community for creating a sculpture deemed ‘too offensive,’ embarks on a bizarre odyssey of art, flesh, decomposition, and spiritual ascension.

Vexanthrone details the mental and physical difficulties of the creative process in an experimental and surreal fashion that mixes arthouse sensibilities with gross-out body horror.

Shot entirely without a script, the film serves as both a personal and unfiltered look into the mind of its director as well as a commentary on underground art with a mix of unscripted realism and bizarre surrealistic sequences used as metaphorical fill-ins to convey the more complex messages within.

Vexanthrone will have a Q1 2024 release on Blu-Ray through the brand-new label Tarnished Vision Films.
