It’s an oldie but a goodie — Long Pigs first emerged in 2007 and was made by Chris Power and Nathan Hynes. Filmed as a very graphic and intelligently scripted mockumentary, the movie boasts effects by Chris Bridges who has been involved in Blade II, the Dawn of the Dead remake, Saw IV, Splice, and many more. So, you know this is going to be a juicy one.
Two desperate and young filmmakers stumble upon the ultimate subject, a 33-year-old cannibalistic serial killer named Anthony McAllister, who has agreed to let them document every aspect of his horrifically violent lifestyle. Initially terrified, the filmmakers get to know Anthony as a person. They even begin to identify with his ecological and philosophical justifications for his cannibalistic lifestyle…
