TetroVideo Bring the Gory Goodies Again!
Marian Dora springs up to bite into your eyes once more from those ghoulish ladies and gents at TetroVideo courtesy of 2010’s, Voyage to Agatis. I only recently reviewed their last Marian Dora release, Carcinoma (see review of Carcinoma here) which it transpired to be my first ever encounter with Marian’s works.
Voyage to Agatis (see review for Voyage to Agatis here) was released on the 14th December showcased as a limited Digipack Edition, or a standard release (with a couple of short films in the extras), and is about a couple of well-off perverts whom lure a prostitute into what appears to be an innocent yachting cruise, but, well, c’mon do you think it’s gonna be all cocktails and sun-creams?
Next along the gut churning conveyor belt comes, Be My Cat: A Film for Anne, put together by Romanian director, Adrian Tofei in 2015. He also stars as character, Adrian (hahaha) an aspiring film maker who is obsessed with Hollywood actress, Anne Hathaway. He goes to shocking extremes to convince her to star in his latest film.
Again this came out December 14th as a Tetro limited edition plus regular. Last, but certainly not least, is an anthology called Tales to Tell in the Dark. Now this has made me smile because one of the stories is Reveniens, by Severed darling, Domiziano Cristopharo which I reviewed a year or so back (see review of Reveniens here) and totally enjoyable it was to. I often wondered what had happened to it.
Also on this rugged brutal boat ride is Lorenzo Zanoni who has had his name appear once or twice in our pages. Tales to Tell in the Dark comes to us as a limited edition with poster, etcetera, and of course a standard.
All three are available to order now so here’s a link to TetroVideo (here) for these any many other ghastly chewy nasties.
As a bonus, here’s the trailer for Tales to Tell in the Dark:
