The Angela Chapters - Lucifer Valentine’s Grim New Monster!

Due to Severed Cinema changing over time and long work hours, I’m a bit behind on reporting news and stuff. Now I’m off work for some time whilst the UK attempts to contain the outbreak, so I should be bringing you lovely Severed cuties regular information. First off is the infamous Mr. Valentine with The Angela Chapters.

I’ve never been a big keen fan of Lucifer Valentine. Like the August Underground movies, I’ve always felt his work has no substance and is just trying to find an excuse to shock, but try and be art (well, quite unlike the A.U. flicks if that’s the case, they’re just pointless with no art). However, after reading up and viewing the trailer to his new vile beast, my opinion may just change because this looks damn good.

The Angela Chapters is actually six short films, but seems to have a theme throughout. Running at around 2 hours (chapter 5 ‘Angel Abuse’ is going to be a full hour of eye popping nasty), fans of Mr. Valentine (and there are a lot of them) will find this very satisfying.

Lucifer works hard and creates a product marketable to a certain audience who lap up his pools of gore and vomit over and over again. With this one coming soon from Black Lava Entertainment, I may drop to my knees ready with my tongue out. Check the awesome trailer… https://vimeo.com/394516134
