Severin’s Holiday Assault: Crippled Masters, Razor Blade Smile & Bava in 4K
Heeeey, there’s a few goodies listed on Severin’s site that are currently on pre-order.
The best (to me) must be The Crippled Masters, which I reviewed a few years ago (see The Crippled Masters – The Most Insane Kung Fu Revenge Flick You’ve Never Seen), plus Retribution (see Retribution (1987): Neon Nightmares, Glowing Eyes, and Fisher-Price Synths). I must say, I kind of regret that one. It was a bit unkind of me. I re-watched Retribution on Night Flight Plus recently and enjoyed it a lot more. Both are coming out on crispy Blu-rays.
Also, the underground UK gem, Razor Blade Smile, starring David Warbeck, is getting a 3-disc 4k UHD treatment, as is Mario Bava’s A Bay of Blood — accompanied by a CD.
