A Killer Comeback: Jay Creepy Returns to the Screen with ‘Scream: A New Beginning’
Okay, I don’t usually do this. However, I just have to give a cheeky Severed thumbs-up to a new short flick coming out soon, Scream: A New Beginning. Is it a fan movie? Yeah, a nice professional-looking one.
Writer and director, Bridley Dolpin, has built a crimson-splashed little epic in his hometown of Barton-upon-Humber, UK, and the reason I’m writing this up on here is that I’m in it as Dr. Frank Stevenson, a sympathetic victim for once, not my usual bad guy, which I tend to appear as in other movies. It’s been a few years since I put on the ol’ acting shoes.
It’s the usual story: a few phone calls, a load of bloody deaths, tons of action and then a big reveal twist — in fact, two for this one.
Aside from myself, the film stars Eliette (Trying not to Kill Each Other, Wisdom Teeth) Murallee, plus a gaggle of eager newcomers, Emily Peck, Liam Hoggins, Tracy Lyons, plus more who will start to climb the ladder soon.
Scream: A New Beginning is fast, gory, loud, and deserves a look at once it’s out on the rounds. Here’s the trailer. Have fun… https://youtu.be/sMO4wq1keN4?is=1H4LzBo_Qh1RD_Uy
