K.O.A (Killed on Arrival) is Now on IndieGoGo!
C’mon folks let’s give a few quids/dollars/etcetera to two newbies on our ever-crimson blossoming scene, Matt Burns and Moni Parra. This duo has done bits and pieces of acting on the underground circuit, and have recently decided to stake their claim by putting together a micro budget nasty called K.O.A. (Killed on Arrival).
They figured they need only 5k to fulfil what they need, and they’re nearly there with over 30 days to gogo, but let’s be honest, an extra 1k or more will help in case anything goes wrong. Besides, a bigger budget means they could maybe add in a few juicy ideas that they could have left out of the script for Killed on Arrival.
The Synopsis for Killed on Arrival:
Killed on Arrival is the story of four sets of friends, who are spending Halloween weekend at the Beautiful Creekside “Kamp of Antietam.” Each attending is promised a “Once in a Lifetime” Halloween experience at the campgrounds “Haunted Creekside Manor.” But there’s more than just fresh air and fishing going on at the K.O.A.
Killed on Arrival sounds fun. It’s gonna be one of those beer in hand late night slurp down the pizza with yer friends kind of movies, and that is totally awesome because we all need some of those flicks in our lives. A lot of the larger perks have already been taken but there’s still a whole lot left to grab.
So, I haven’t mentioned the best bit yet have I? The cast. Maybe it’s big parts or cameos, but none other than Duane Bradley from the Basket Case trilogy, Kevin Van Hentenryck is in this one, along with Shawn C. Phillips, a guy who’s had over 150 roles since 2007 in a mass of grim down ‘n’ dirty low cash crazy nasty flicks!
