The Next Trilogy of Terror from TetroVideo!
This month from TetroVideo we have three newbies with quite diverse subject matter. First up there’s 2012’s found footage flick, Hate Crime. Directed by James Cullen Bressack, this is an infamous on the underground brutal movie showcasing a group of meth addicted Neo-Nazi head fucks invading a home and brutalizing the Jewish family within. Tetro have a limited run hard case media edition with booklet, behind the scenes, etcetera available.
Next up is a film by one of my fave trash cinema with heart directors, Don Dohler, Blood Massacre. Don created the unbelievably warm homely late night rental classic, Nightbeast and Fiend (see review here). Blood Massacre is one of his later gems made in 1987. Again, it’s another home invasion theme, this time with crazed Vietnam Vets robbing a local store then taking a family hostage. However, they are in for a surprise…
Last but no way least is 1995’s I Love Snuff, where an S&M couple capture and torture a young girl, filming their exploits. Described as “obscene” and “revolting,” I haven’t seen this one personally, but what I have read has got my interest. Starring Jean-Louis Costes, apparently the French GG Allin (hmm) they send the films to their victim’s husband, who becomes excited and wants more.
