GG Allin Is Getting a Biopic and Caleb Landry Jones Will Never Be the Same
As long-time readers will know, GG Allin has been featured a fair few times on these very pages over the years. Hated was reviewed first (see Look Into My Eyes and Hate Me — Hated: GG Allin & the Murder Junkies DVD Review) followed by talking show appearances (see Three Hosts, One Madman, Zero Filter — GG Allin Talk Show Appearances Review) plus the awesome GG Allin: All in the Family documentary (see GG Allin: All in the Family DVD Review from MVD) all via myself.
So now it’s giving me wonderful and great pleasure to announce the actor who has bravely chosen to step into his shit-stained boots for an upcoming biopic, Caleb Landry Jones, as announced on Facebook and Threads (hopefully this is true and not a pathetic joke, but by now I’m sure Caleb would have diffused it). Aside from acting, he’s also a musician who has released a handful of albums.
However, where have you seen him before? The Last Exorcism, X-Men First Class, Breaking Bad, a version of Dracula — yeah, he’s a seasoned veteran at such a young age.
Seeing the pic below, honestly, I think this is a perfect choice. If this biopic is everything or even half of what GG Allin’s life of chaos truly was, then Caleb will never be the same person afterwards.
Now then, who’s going to play Deano and Merle?
