Out of the Bowl and Into the Dorm: Ghoulies Go to College Returns on Blu-ray

If there’s one video cover and shop poster that really stands out in memory for better or worse, it’s the green bald puppet dude sticking his head out of the toilet bowl from Ghoulies! 

“They’ll get you in the end!” What a tagline, and what a fun collection of films. The madness began in 1984 and concluded in 1994 after four movies. 

Ghoulies IIII (Ghoulies Go to College) is coming out soon fresh faced via Lionsgate courtesy of the Vestron Video label on Blu-ray. Yep, this time they head to college. Honestly, it’s not as bad as it sounds. 

A college professor (Kevin McCarthy) who dabbles in the occult decides to sabotage Prank Week by summoning three Ghoulies trapped in the pages of a demonic comic book. Once freed, the raunchy creatures party like there’s no tomorrow, trashing the campus and pulling their own deadly pranks. But one couple decides to take on the monstrous menace, leading to an unhinged Ghoulies-tastic climax.
